A recent class explored the Alsace region of France.
We had the pleasure of tasting several wines from the region, including some Rieslings that amazed and delighted.
Most people, Americans at least, when asked about Riesling, will crinkle their nose and say something about how nasty sweet they are.
Well, not any more. The Rieslings from this area are crisp, bright and have the exact acidity to make any seafood meal a real treat. Who knew? Now we do!
